Agreement to these Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and NU Health Medical Wellness (“NuHealth,” “we,” or “us”) governing your use of nuhealthwellness.coand any related pages, forms, and communications (collectively, the “Site”).

If you access the Site or use any feature offered through it — including the health assessment quiz, scheduling links, and email or SMS we send you — you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter binding agreements to use the Site. By submitting any form, you confirm that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is accurate and your own.

The Site is intended for residents of the United States. Telehealth consultations are limited to states where our providers are licensed (currently Michigan, Florida, Alabama, and Mississippi). In-person visits take place at our Royal Oak, MI clinic.

Not medical advice (until you become a patient)

Content on the Site, including the assessment quiz results, blog articles, and program descriptions, is provided for general informational purposes. It is not medical advice, and it does not create a patient-provider relationship.

A patient-provider relationship is established only after a licensed NuHealth provider has reviewed your full intake, conducted a consultation, and accepted you into care. Any recommendations, prescriptions, or treatment plans come from that licensed provider — not from the Site itself.

If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. Do not rely on this Site for urgent or emergency care.

Program-specific disclosures

Programs offered through NuHealth carry program-specific risks, benefits, and eligibility criteria that will be discussed during your consultation. The summaries below are for informational reference only.

Weight loss (compounded GLP-1)

Compounded GLP-1 medications (semaglutide, tirzepatide) are prepared by a state-licensed 503A compounding pharmacy and prescribed only after physician supervision. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved as finished drug products. Individual results vary and depend on adherence to a medically supervised plan that includes nutrition and activity. Side effects may include nausea, vomiting, constipation, and others; your provider will discuss the full risk profile with you.

Hormone optimization

Hormone therapy (including testosterone replacement, enclomiphene, and DHEA) requires lab confirmation of clinical need and ongoing monitoring. These therapies are not appropriate for everyone and carry risks that your provider will review with you before initiating treatment.

Sexual health

Sildenafil and tadalafil are prescription medications with contraindications — in particular, they should not be used with nitrate medications or by people with certain cardiovascular conditions. Your provider will screen for these before prescribing.

Performance & longevity

Performance therapies (NAD+, sermorelin, glutathione) are prescribed individually based on labs and goals. Some are compounded; some have limited long-term clinical data. Your provider will explain what is and is not known about each option.

Hair & skin

Topical and oral hair and skin treatments (e.g., finasteride, minoxidil, neurotoxins, dermal fillers) carry medication-specific risks. Aesthetic procedures are performed by licensed providers and require an in-person visit.

IV hydration

IV hydration drips are administered in-clinic by trained staff after a brief screening for contraindications. They are not a substitute for treatment of underlying medical conditions.

Email, SMS & call communications

When you submit the assessment quiz, request a callback, or otherwise provide your contact information, you authorize NuHealth and our care team to contact you by email, phone, or text message at the contact information you provide, for purposes related to your inquiry and your care.

Marketing emails include an unsubscribe link in every message. Marketing SMS messages include a STOP keyword (reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help). Message and data rates may apply. Frequency varies based on your engagement.

Some messages — appointment confirmations, prescription notifications, and other messages tied to your care — are transactional and may continue after a marketing opt-out.

Pricing, fees & financing

Prices shown on the Site are the current advertised rates for our programs and may change. The most current price will be confirmed during your consultation, before any charge is made. The initial consultation fee is $50, refundable in full if you are not accepted as a candidate for treatment.

We accept HSA / FSA where eligible. Financing through CareCredit is offered as a convenience and is administered entirely by Synchrony Bank — NuHealth does not own, operate, or set the terms of CareCredit. Approval, rates, and terms are determined by Synchrony.

Disclaimers

THE SITE IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NUHEALTH DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NUHEALTH AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of certain damages; in those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted.

Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless NuHealth, its providers, officers, employees, and contractors from any claim, liability, damage, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your misuse of the Site, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party right.

Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. The exclusive venue for any dispute that is not subject to arbitration or small-claims-court jurisdiction is the state or federal courts located in Oakland County, Michigan, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

You and NuHealth agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of these Terms or the Site will be resolved through binding individual arbitration on a non-class basis, except that either party may bring a qualifying claim in small claims court. The Federal Arbitration Act governs the interpretation and enforcement of this provision.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
