PMS Relief IV

Relief when you need it most

Magnesium, Calcium, Vitamin C, and B-Complex (with B6 and B12) in IV fluids — targeted at the worst days of the cycle.

About this drip

Relief when you need it most.

The PMS Relief IV pairs components with specific PMS research behind them. Magnesium is a documented muscle relaxant and supports the smooth-muscle calm that helps with cramps. Calcium balances the magnesium and supports normal nerve and muscle function. Vitamin B6 has small but consistent randomized-trial evidence for premenstrual symptom relief, particularly mood and bloat. Vitamin C adds antioxidant support during the cycle. Saline addresses the dehydration that often piles on top of everything else. Patients book it on cycle days 1–3, the days before, or after a particularly heavy period. Sessions take about 30–45 minutes at our Royal Oak clinic and are administered by a licensed clinician. If your cycle pattern is changing — heavier, longer, more painful — that’s a primary care or gynecology visit, not a recurring drip.

What's Inside

Medical-grade ingredients, precisely dosed and delivered directly to your bloodstream.

01

Magnesium

An essential mineral involved in muscle relaxation and nerve function.

Mechanism
Magnesium acts as a natural calcium antagonist in smooth muscle, supporting relaxation; deficiency is associated with muscle cramps, tension headaches, and premenstrual symptoms.

02

Calcium

A core mineral the body uses across muscle, nerve, and cardiovascular function.

Mechanism
Calcium is essential for normal nerve conduction and muscle contraction; in the drip it balances the magnesium and supports the broader mineral baseline.

03

Vitamin C

Water-soluble antioxidant involved in collagen synthesis and immune cell function.

Mechanism
Vitamin C is a cofactor for enzymes that maintain connective tissue and contributes to normal immune cell activity at higher plasma concentrations than oral intake typically achieves.

04

B-Complex (with B6 + B12)

Vitamin B6 has specific PMS research; B12 supports nervous-system function.

Mechanism
Vitamin B6 is involved in the synthesis of serotonin and other neurotransmitters that regulate mood; randomized trials have shown modest improvement in premenstrual mood symptoms with B6.

05

Saline

IV fluids for hydration and to relieve symptoms of bloating-related discomfort.

Mechanism
Many patients are dehydrated by the time PMS symptoms peak; isotonic saline restores plasma volume and can reduce the headache and fatigue tied to underlying dehydration.

Questions, answered

About the PMS Relief IV.

Most patients book it on the 1–3 worst days — often the day before bleeding starts or the first full day of bleeding. Your NuHealth clinician can help you map the right window once they’ve heard about your cycle pattern.

No. The PMS Relief IV is a symptom-targeted nutrient infusion; it does not regulate hormones the way hormonal birth control does, and it does not replace NSAIDs for acute pain. Many patients use it in addition to whatever else they already rely on.

Probably not as the first step. A new pattern of heavier, longer, or more painful periods is worth a primary care or gynecology visit to rule out fibroids, endometriosis, thyroid issues, or other treatable causes. Your NuHealth clinician will say so directly if your intake suggests that.

Safety + supervision

The PMS Relief IV is administered by a licensed clinician at our Royal Oak clinic. New, worsening, or progressive changes to your menstrual cycle warrant a primary care or gynecology evaluation rather than recurring drips. Tell your provider if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, on hormonal birth control, on calcium supplements, or have known kidney disease before scheduling.
